Dr. Phil Has Irked Me Again…

Self promotion and exploitation are the basic motivators for Dr. Phil’s show. I am not the only one who feels that way, just check out his show’s Facebook page to see complaint after complaint. What’s up now? For those of you who don’t tune in I’ll explain. This year Robin, Dr. Phil’s wife, has “created” a skin care line (and I use the word “created” very loosely). On top of that, Dr. Phil and his son Jay have created a new app called, “Doctor on Demand,” that allows you to connect with a real doctor, who will diagnose you over your smart phone and give you a prescription for whatever ails you for a mere $40, the cost of a co-pay, in the comfort of your home. That is what is on the agenda for this season. Two money making schemes to add to the riches of Dr. Phil’s pockets. That is after all Dr. Phil’s forte, bilking people out of money under the guise of helping them when, in actuality, he is helping himself.

Let me explain why this irks me. I was watching a show about an abused woman. She had little self esteem, the husband was a real jerk who verbally assaulted her every chance he got. He doesn't find her attractive, blah, blah blah. So they are telling their story and half way into the show (or less) Dr. Phil announces that Robin is going to help the wife by giving her a “make-over.” I’m thinking fine, the wife and Robin will go backstage together while Dr. Phil lays into the jerk of a husband and straightens him out. But no, that’s not what happens. Instead, we get to see the entire make-over from start to finish, focusing on Robin’s skin care line which is going to make all the difference in this woman’s life. Insert eye-roll. All the while Dr. Phil and the jerk of a husband are sitting out on stage waiting for the miraculous transformation that is going to save this marriage. The make-over takes about 30 minutes and is basically a self-serving “infomercial” within the show. There is no other way around it. Promoting Robin’s products and the fact she will be appearing on a cable channel after the show to hawk her goods some more. I was disgusted. Many people of the Dr. Phil page were disgusted. Instead of taking care of the problem “husband” they put a Band-Aid on the wife and sent her home with skin cream. In the meantime you can hear the “chi-ching” for orders being placed all over America and maybe even the world. After this show aired, it wasn’t the end of the shameless promotion of this skin care line. Every female guest appearing after that show needed to be treated with more of the same. They didn’t waste as much time, but managed to beat a dead horse promoting their products when they should be helping the guest.

Moving on to the Doctor on Demand App. How long has Dr. Phil been “treating” people on his show? Over ten years I would guess. Never before has he had the need for an medical doctor to define every illness and it’s consequences. Up until now, he has ben able to tell guests the what will happened if they continue to do drugs or alcohol. This isn’t his first rodeo after all. He knows his stuff and what he doesn’t know he can easily find out. But now he is all of a sudden playing dumb. Every guest that is harming themselves with drugs or alcohol needs to hear what a doctor on demand has to say about it. Midway through his interview the will tell us he and his son Jay have created an app that allows you to speak to a doctor about any medical issue. Dr. Phil will whip out his smart phone, that has already connected itself to a doctor from his app, and start asking the doctor questions about the guests condition. He will hand the phone over to the guest as he asks basic questions and then thank the highly qualified doctor for answering. Then he encourages everyone to download the app and gets back to his guest. It really is unethical to use the show in this way. Doesn’t Dr. Phil have enough money without taking time away from guests who have come to him seeking his help? And we all know that he combs through all potential guests to find those who will bring him the highest ratings because this show is a cash cow for Dr. Phil and all his products. He even promotes his son, Jay's, show The Docotrs and his son's publishing company that published the good old doc's lasst book.

He may have started out a tiny bit sincere about trying to help people overcome problems, but now (and for a long long time) his guests have become a means to an end. A way to help his empire grow. Who cares if that woman’s husband, the jerk, continues to verbally abuse her? They gave her skin care products and let her be on the show to exploit her problem as a means to launch Robin’s line. And who better to subscribe to his app Doctor’s on demand than hypochondriacs? They can call in every day! Yes, he did have a woman on there who suffered from hypochrondria and he suggested she use his app. Cha-ching.

When Parents Fail...

…what’s a child to do? Often times, when kids get into trouble and experiment with drugs and alcohol, we blame it on hanging out with the wrong crowd. Peers that are bad influences. What’s a parent to do? But that’s not always the case. Sometimes the parents really are to blame. I made the mistake of not changing the channel fast enough on Monday and I left Dr. Phil on. There was a 19 year old girl in some big trouble. She has made some terrible choices and has an eating disorder, bulimia. Some people might blame her for her miserable life, until you hear her talk about her parents, who were both there to “defend” themselves. Kylie developed her eating disorder at 12 years old. Her mother taught her how to “throw up” and bought her laxatives. The mother, Paula, modeled anoxia and bulimia for her daughter. The mother’s excuse is that she struggled with weight her whole life and has been on all kinds of diets. The daughter says her mother is an alcoholic and a mean, abusive drunk at that. She calls her daughter a “whore” and wishes she was dead. Kylie also says her mother steals her prescription drugs. Kylie started experimenting with drugs at the age of 14. Right now Kylie lives with her dad. Her father, Cory, has OCD which creates a lot of anxiety for Kylie. On top of that, he abuses alcohol and smokes marijuana with his daughter, he even has a bong. He admits to that.

Kylie says she always wanted her parent’s approval. She had intentions of being a model, but got sidetracked into working in porn. Her mother says she doesn’t want her daughter doing that, but Kylie says all her mom cares about is if she got paid for the job. Paula says she takes her daughter to the doctor to make sure she hasn’t contracted any diseases. Kylie says her mom takes her because it’s required before she can be in a project. Kylie hates her life and wants help from Dr. Phil for her eating disorder and addiction.

And this is what led me to start thinking about Lindsay Lohan yesterday morning. I have been hard on Lindsay, like most people, because she has the financial means to help herself out of her problems and get the proper treatment. Lindsay was a bright and beautiful child. She was talented and had a lot of potential. But, like poor Kylie, her parents left a lot to be desired. Her modeling career began at age 3, her acting career began at 10. Her mother became her agent. By the time she was 16 (and maybe before that), she was successful and out partying in the fast lane. Her family was so dysfunctional. Her father, Michael, in and out of jail and an alcoholic himself, while her mother Dina abuses both alcohol and drugs. Her parents divorced and fought over Lindsay’s money. I think it’s safe to say the girl had no parenting, and her lifestyle and money gave her too much freedom. Now, 10 years later, she have been before a judge at least two dozen times and only by the grace of God is she still alive. I always got the impression her parents only cared about her money and what it could do for them.

Now, if reports are true that Lindsay started abusing alcohol and drugs at age 16 or 17, and you believe what Dr. Phil says, then her brain never matured. She is mentally stuck at that age. We see a 26 year old who acts like a reckless teenager because her brain hasn’t continued to develop. On top of that, her addictions warp her way of thinking, and she can’t make good choices for herself. She has “yes” men all around her who tell her what she wants to hear. We have seen this scenario all too often, and it almost always ends in disaster.

Why does this bother me? Lindsay was born in 1986 and has been spiraling downhill for ten long years. She had little to no parenting that I have read about. Maybe even the roles were reversed and Lindsay had to be the “parent” at one point. My daughters are close in age to Lindsay. They were raised very differently and maybe with a little too much parenting. They have worked hard and done well for themselves. They have been allowed to be children and they were loved, as all children should be loved. It bothers me that no one on this world cares enough about Lindsay Lohan to get her to see she needs help. Not even the two people who brought her into this world. Instead they led her on the path to self destruction, from which she can’t seem to extricate herself. I find it sad. I fear that one day I will wake up and hear the news that she died of an overdose or in a car accident. Once a beautiful, innocent child with so much potential and her whole life ahead of her, is now headed for a tragic ending. No one seems to care whether she lives or dies. Maybe what started out as “partying” has turned into a way of coping with that realization? I don’t know. But I find it sad when people have children and then failed them miserably as parents.

Lindsay and Kylie deserved better than that. Kylie is going to get help and hopefully will start over, on her own, without her toxic parents. I wish I could say the same for Lindsay.

Dr. Phil on Lindsay Lohan’s Arrest

I am not a big fan of Dr. Phil or Lindsay Lohan, but I am peeved and decided to say something.

I happened to be watching The Talk, when they had their guest Dr. Phil come out to promote his new book “Life Codes.” The first thing they asked him was his opinion on Lindsay Lohan’s recent arrest. First he gives a quick resume of his legal background with the court system and then offers up his two cents. He explains that Lindsay is on probation, or as he likes to call it “sweet poison,” because if she does anything wrong she just bounces back to jail without a trial. He goes on to say that when on probation you have to avoid even the appearance of impropriety or you can get in trouble. That doesn’t seem to apply to Lindsay, as far as I have seen. However, Dr. Phil says, you don’t take a high risk individual (Lindsay) and put them in a high risk situation (Bar at 4 am) and then act surprised when something bad happens. Now here is the part that irritates me: He says it may have been her parents who got her into this situation, but she is an adult now (at 26) and she makes her own decisions and must take responsibility. He adds, “when you choose the behavior, you choose the consequences [she’ll go to jail] and then we will spend about $25,000 a year of taxpayer money for her to look at a wall, I guess.” Very compassionate, wouldn’t you say? Well that’s if nothing worse happens, Dr. Phil.

I’ll explain why all this bothers me. I have heard Dr. Phil say many times that teenagers do not understand the consequences of their behavior. The frontal cortex of the brain, where this understanding takes place, is not fully developed until a person is 25. Now back to Lindsay. It’s true that Lindsay is now 26 years old, however how many years ago did she start “partying,” drinking and doing drugs? There were many reports of her out with her mother, Dina, who we have recently seen on Dr. Phil. The woman is a mess and I would go so far as to say she was an unfit mother. Never mind Lindsay’s loser father who speaks matter of factly about his daughter’s recent arrest and blames it on the city and people, not Lindsay or her parents. Dina has always loved being in the limelight and I get the impression she was living her dream for fame vicariously through her daughter. It’s no surprise that she went partying with her young daughter and that Lindsay was introduced very early to the “partying” lifestyle by dear old mom. This was during her teenage years. I could not find out exactly when it all started because there are thousands of hits for “Lindsay partying” on Google.

So when Dr. Phil says Lindsay is an adult now, that is technically true, but her brain is fried. We don’t know if her frontal cortex had a chance of developing normally while she was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Obviously she hasn’t been thinking clearly and making good choices for a very long time. Dr. Phil, with his impressive resume, should know all this and place much more blame on her parents and getting Lindsay proper help. Where are his resources and offers of help? Lindsay may not have the mental capacity or even be sober enough to decide she needs to go to rehab. Her parents are hopeless. The poor girl has had no parental guidance, instead she was exploited by both parents for the money she was making. So who is going to step in and save this girl’s life before she ends it with an overdose? Before she mixes too much alcohol and too many pills? Before she gets behind the wheel of a car and kills herself or others? Who? Dr. Phil? Dr. Drew? Her lawyers? The legal system who lets her out of jail in 15 minutes every time she is arrested?

When she kills herself will everyone be crying and saying she was so young? Will they be wringing their hands saying if only we had done something? When will those closest to her wake the hell up!  It’s as predictable as Michael Jackson’s early death.

I just read this morning that Lindsay is out of jail again. Great. And everyone is failing her again. She is just a hot topic of conversation for all the talk shows and tabloids. But when the hell is someone going to step in and actually do something before her story ends in tragedy? Maybe I should send this blog off to Dr. Phil. Maybe he can do a show with Lindsay during February sweeps, if she lasts that long.

I think it’s so sad that this once very talented 26 year old girl is being left to her own devices when it’s clear she is headed for a tragic end. Maybe all these incidents are a cry for help and no one is answering. I just can’t be the only one who sees this, and my resume is not close to being as impressive as Dr. Phil’s.

Dr. Phil “Talks” To Dina Lohan

The previews were a train wreck! I had to tune in. I have always blamed Dina for the state of affairs Lindsay is in today. Now Dr. Phil wants to see what part her parents played in her troubles. Dina has four children. She has the nerve to talk about her husband’s issues, let’s see what she reveals about herself. Good luck understanding this because much of it is incoherent, thanks to Dina.

Dr. Phil starts the private interview. She has never had an in-depth interview about who she is. He wants to give her a chance to tell people who she really is.  She went to NYU and was a dancer major. She wants to cut the filming before they even get started…she is fascinated with the cameras. She says she feels like she is on a date with Dr. Phil. She talks about her ex-husband Michael, he was a nice guy, he was a trader in the stock exchange. She got pregnant a week after her honeymoon. She had doubts the day of her wedding of whether she should have gone through with the marriage. She says he was never abusive before the marriage, but the abuse started during the honeymoon. He threw a Bible at her head. She didn’t expect the abuse to continue. They were married 19 years, but only together 7 years. He was in jail for insider trading. She was physically abused while she was pregnant. Dr. Phil wants to know why she had three more children with him. Dr. Phil reports Michael says he only hit her one time and everything else she said was fabricated. She says he is lying. She asks to stop the filming again. Dr. Phil brings up the time Michael came to her house and forced his way in. How did he get in the house? She says he broke in. It was a nightmare. Everything happened so fast she couldn’t call for help. She wants to go home now. Dr. Phil says do what you want to do. He thinks she needs to talk about it. She finds it hard to talk about horrific situations. He asks what does she want to talk about? She says whatever is on his list. He asks how Michael's abuse affected Lindsay? She says he never mentions their other three children. He says she uses Lindsay financially for money. Dr. Phil is getting frustrated, she says wants to set the record straight and now she doesn’t want to talk about anything, she is reaching for words she doesn’t even know the meaning of. She says she is being scrutinized by "you people." Dr. Phil takes offense, he can’t understand what she is saying. Now she says she is guarded. He wants to know why she is there? She isn’t speaking the way she normally would.

Why are you here?, says Dr. Phil. She says are we rolling? He wants to ask questions and have her answer them honestly. She is obsessed with the cameras and that’s all she talks about, not her life. Dr. Phil says she is dodging questions and deflects everything. He says she knows the cameras are on, she is stalling, dodging his questions. It’s all a fraud. She has made herself look phony and inauthentic and that doesn’t show who she really is. He just wants an honest answer to his questions, he provides a safe place for people to talk about their feelings. He says she is flitting around, she says it’s not true. So far I have watched 25 minutes of the show and nothing has been answered and she is barely coherent. She doesn’t want to talk about the hard things. He says why are we here, she answers I don’t know.

He says so we’re done, there is nothing to talk about. She says he is in his "little tie and little shoes." He says what the hell does that mean? He says she was abused on her honeymoon, when she was pregnant and she went back and had 3 more children, why? She thought he changed. He didn’t want to go to counseling with her. He is going to read off some things from a card that Michael told them and she can respond. She never worked, she collected 20% of Lindsay’s money for managing her. He says she collected welfare while he was in jail even though his family supported her. She says they did not. He says she took money and commissions from Lindsay by lying to her. She denies all Michael’s lies. Dr. Phil says Lindsay has made some bad decisions because she started in show business at a young age. How much of Lindsay’s problems did Dina learn from the media? She says she had to read it and cry about it. They go through the list of Lindsay’s problems. She keeps talking over Dr. Phil. She says if Lindsay was in New York five of those things wouldn’t be on the list. People are under a microscope in LA. Dr. Phil is more frustrated.

They discuss alcoholism and addiction in their family. He asks if she is going to be okay.

Now Dr. Phil wants to get Michael’s side of the events. He wants him to have an opportunity to respond. She said Michael looks at Lindsay like the goose that lays the golden egg. He says it’s Dina that goes after her money. Dina says he is a drug user, he says yes before they got married, he doesn’t drink and do drugs. People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones, he says of Dina. Dr. Phil plays the tape. Michaels says she deflected every question Dr. Phil asked. He says one time he came home late and she hit him with an ice tray and he hit her back, that one time. Dr. Phil says Dina doesn’t take any blame at all for Lindsay’s addictions. He asks what he thinks of Dina’s behavior? He says she need an intervention and a rehab. He is concerned about her influence on the children.

There is another woman on the show who is saying he is the father of Ashley Ann, her daughter. He has never acknowledged his daughter. She was married and had an affair with Michael. She had her husband take a paternity test and he wasn’t the father. The woman wanted him to know that Ashley was his child. Michael never had a paternity test done, but believed she was his daughter. When she wants child support, Michael denies the child is his. Ashley has never met Michael. They play a tape of Ashley for him, she just wants the truth, she doesn’t want to be part of his life. Now that she sees who he is she doesn’t want anything to do with him, but she wants to know if he is her father. He says he will take the test and give her the answer she is looking for.

Now the show is over and I have an enormous headache. A waste of an hour, but I was compelled to watch. Nothing was accomplished except the paternity test for Ashley…maybe…because Michael is also a liar! Then Dr. Phil comes back and says Michael will do the paternity test IF it is done on television. Ashley wants it done privately. Who knows if it will ever really get done. Poor Lindsay Lohan, what chance did she have with parents like these two?

Dr. Phil Interviews The Anthony’s - Part 3 Recap

Dr. Phil has more questions. Casey was reported to want another baby and he asks if they think that’s a good idea. Cindy says not until they find out what might be wrong with her, a hormonal trigger of some kind. Lee is about to get married and they hope to be grandparents again. Cindy says she feels comfortable with Casey babysitting their baby. George says that would be up to Lee and his wife. Even though Cindy thinks something is seriously wrong with Casey and she thinks she could baby sit another child. She doesn’t think that Casey is evil and would let anything happen to another child. She thinks Casey would be extra cautious. Dr. Phil is stunned that Cindy would leave Casey alone with another child.

They were aware during the trial, that anything they said could get Casey the death penalty. They say they were prepared to tell the truth regardless of the outcome. They answered all the specific questions asked of them. Baez called in Cindy for a private meeting alone, without George. She says Casey wanted her to know something.  Baez told her Casey wanted her to know how Caylee died. That’s when he told her Caylee drowned in the pool. Cindy couldn’t believe that Casey put them all through this, for three years, without saying anything. Cindy asks “why now?” Baez wanted to tell her sooner, but Casey said no. Then, when it was going to be used at trial, Casey wanted Cindy to be the first to know. George thinks they were playing on Cindy’s emotions the whole time (Baez and Casey) George says he never believed anything the defense has told them. He feels he wasn’t asked to the meeting because he wouldn’t believe it. They wanted to get Cindy on board with their story.

Dr. Phil asks when the first time George hears he molested Casey. He says he read it in a letter and he realizes the defense was coming after him. Dr. Phil says the defense learned through the social media that George wasn’t liked so he was a likely target to cause reasonable doubt. They used the molestation theory to explain away Casey’s lies. They played the tapes of Baez describing sexual molestation of Casey by George. It was in the opening statement and the parents were not allowed to have any reaction when listening to it. George says he never touched her inappropriately and Cindy believes it. The defense theory was not truthful. If that defense theory of molestation contributed to the acquittal then the acquittal was wrong. Cindy thinks they acquitted Casey because the state did not prove their case. Dr. Phil pushes Cindy, if she knows for a fact that George never hurt Casey. She says absolutely, she would have killed him herself or turned him in. A week after they found out Caylee drowned, the defense told her they were going to use molestation in the case. The accidental drowning didn’t make any sense. George would have given her resuscitation and called 911 and not gone to work that day. Cindy saw George dying inside every day.  She is convinced he did not have anything to do with any drowning.

Dr. Phil thinks the jury was duped by the drowning theory. Cindy thinks Baez had to try to pin it on someone else to create reasonable doubt. George became his fall guy. Dr. Phil says the two major parts of the defense were misinformation, the molestation and George being part of the drowning, but Cindy believes that duping them was not an issue it was more the fact there was not enough evidence. George could not believe that Casey was not going to serve time for Caylee’s death. She wasn’t going to be held accountable. He wanted to hear a guilty to one of the charges. Cindy was praying for all three not guilty and was elated when she heard she was acquitted. Cindy thinks George wanted her to pay for hurting him and for all the lies. George says no he wanted her accountable for what happened to Caylee. One was disappointed and one was relieved. George says Casey can have a relationship with her mother and brother. His relationship will never be more than what it is now.

Dr. Phil keeps calling Cindy out on her string of denials. He asks her about whether she perjured herself on the stand or not. So he gets to the chloroform searches. She says she did a Google search that on the home computer. However, the expert says the search was made while Cindy was at work. Cindy says she was home and she made the searches. But her employer said she was at work. People think she lied. She says she looked up chlorophyll and it went to chloroform. She was looking up chlorophyll because her dog was eating plants and the dog might get sick. Dr. Phil tells her a large portion of the public believes she lies and she swears she did not. Cindy says the expert came back to recant his testimony.  There weren't 84 searches as he said, but one search. And if he was wrong about the number of searches he could be wrong about the date of the search.

Cindy has heard from Casey indirectly through her attorney that she loves all of them and when the time is right they will meet again.

Casey is one of the most criticized hated people in the country right now. Cindy says a lot of that is directed at her and George. Cindy wants her to get treatment and move on with her life with a career and a family. If she showed up on their front porch tomorrow would they let her come home. Lee and Cindy would find a place for her. She could not live with George, she would not be welcomed if he is there. Cindy would not expect him to live with Casey. Cindy understands how he feels. Dr. Phil thinks if given time Casey will mess up again and they think they will be ok…they are working on Caylee’s Law requires reporting of missing child or death in timely manner.

Dr. Phil Talks To The Anthony’s - Recap Part 2

Dr. Phil says millions of people want to shake Cindy awake for the excuses she makes for Casey. Casey lost her moral compass, she is a psychopath, a narcissist, and egotistical…she lied for years about everything. These are character flaw of criminals. Dr. Phil says if you focused just on what we know happened, it’s inexcusable.

Cindy says she thinks on the 16th of June, Casey went psychotic and couldn’t accept the reality of the situation (accidental drowning). Dr. Phil asks why do people lie? To protect themselves, to shift the blame to someone else. On December 19th they learned that Caylee’s remains were identified. She was found so close to home. George says he fell apart every day from the 16th of July when they learned Caylee was missing. He tried to commit suicide, he couldn’t deal with the loss of Caylee any more. Dr. Phil reads the suicide note George wrote. He blamed himself for Caylee being gone. George blames Casey for Caylee not being here today. Cindy rationalizes it, but George feels Casey had something to do with it.

Dr. Phil speaks to George alone because of all the accusations against him. His affair with Crystal Halloway. He denies having an affair with her. No sexual relations. Why would she lie? He has no idea. She testified that George said “it was an accident that snowballed out of control“…that got media attention. George said he never said that to her. Dr. Phil could not track her down to ask her any questions. George denies molesting Casey and helping cover up Caylee’s “accident.” His reputation has been destroyed to some degree, but he says he never had anything to hide. Dr. Phil asks if this was a smear campaign to create reasonable doubt? George says the defense used the fact that he saw Casey and Caylee last, to create a scenario to get his daughter off. Attacking him was a factor in getting Casey off. The jury said George had selective memory and he could be lying, his involvement was suspicious and he could have had a role in this. George said he never held anything back. Some interpret his suicide as guilt; he says it was guilt for not doing enough. He felt like he let his whole family down. George thinks she buried her baby and had some help. He breaks down when he thinks Caylee was treated the way she was with duct tape over her mouth and buried in the woods. He misses Caylee.

Dr. Phil talks to Cindy. Cindy was upset about the “drowning” story. She said the thought had crossed her mind that it coul dhave been a drowning. Phil asks if they believe she drowned. Cindy says she did and told officials, but they didn’t look into it. He asks if they buy the defense theory that Caylee drowned. Cindy says she buys the part she drowned, it was an accident. George says he doesn’t believe it. Cindy says she found the ladder down when she came home that day and told her coworkers. George says if there was an accident why was she buried and why didn’t Casey tell them about it.

George tells what he thinks happened. Cindy never heard his thoughts before. He says, he doesn’t believe Caylee drowned. He thinks that Casey or a friend gave her too much drugs and she never woke up. Chloroform or other drugs. When she didn’t wake up, she was transported in the car and buried down the street. There was no drowning. Dr. Phil says so it was a Chemical babysitter. She was sedated so they could have a good time and freedom. Cindy finds it offensive and this is the first time she has ever heard this. Cindy says the toxicology report never found drugs in her. She doesn’t believe Casey did drugs. George says he has said it a few times. She is not upset with him, it’s good for him to get it out. She is afraid the anger will kill him, holding it in. George feels this in his heart. He doesn’t know what it was, that was used. He says he will never know the truth. But the evidence points to the fact Caylee was in the trunk of the car.

Cindy is angry about all they were put through the past three years. Casey never told her what happened, especially those 31 days, when she lied and actually knew where she was. Dr. Phil wants to know how that baby got into the woods. George has asked that himself, it’s just a quarter mile away from the house. The neighbor said Casey borrowed a shovel from him. They both think she borrowed the shovel. Casey said she needed to cut a piece of bamboo. Cindy doesn’t see the possibility that she used the shovel to dig a hole in the woods to bury the baby. It doesn’t even occur to Cindy that she borrowed it for disposing the body. Dr. Phil asked if Casey put her in the woods. Cindy believes Casey had knowledge or had something to do with it. Cindy says that to Casey the body was just a shell and the soul was gone. Dr. Phil says she is trivializing it because she says the soul left the body and the body is just a shell. George doesn’t excuse anything Casey did and feels she is responsible. Dr. Phil is about to have a stroke. Cindy keeps excusing her behavior by saying, what were they going to do with the body anyway, they were going to cremate her.

Dr,. Phil he gets being loyal to your children, but isn’t it disloyal to Caylee to not get to the truth. Cindy says she has to live with what she knows. She has prayed for three years for closure. If Casey was guilty then she should go to prison. She feels God answered her prayers when Casey went free, and that it was an accident. Dr. Phil asks if Casey is disturbed and Cindy says yes. Something that started during her pregnancy. George has a different opinion of the outcome of the trial.

Another interview is coming in a few days, Dr. Phil is milking this story.

Dr. Phil Interviews Casey Anthony Parents?

Ok this is either a practical joke or someone wants to ruin my birthday! The article says they will appear on the Dr. Phil show next month, Spetember 12th! I have a sudden and enormous headache! I am sick to my stomach, and yet not surprised. Dr. Phil is an exploitive snake in the grass! Pft, pft, pft!

Cindy and George are going to discuss the public scrutiny they have been under during Casey’s murder trial. The show is not paying them for their interview…BIG DEAL. Dr. Phil wants to give them a chance to tell their side of the story. How big of him? After all they suffered from the death of their granddaughter and then went under a public attack. Maybe that has something to do with all their lying and covering up for Casey? The Anthonys feel there is no better place on earth to break their silence than with Dr. Phil.

Dr. Phil says he looks them in the eye and asks some tough questions…same old BS, different day. Dr. Phil said they granted him the interview in exchange for a donation to Caylee’s Fund which was created to promote and eduate the public about grandparents’ rights.

Can I be more disappointed and disgusted with Dr. Phil? Yes, I can. Yes, I am. The stories are all over the internet, but basically state what I have written above. Let me know what you think? Has Dr. Phil done it again? I hope people boycott that September 12th show…I am boycotting all of them!
